A generous sized naturally terminated Kunzite crystal from the Himalayan mountains measuring about 2” at its longest and widest points. This stunning specimen is almost bicolor as it shifts from a nearly colorless edge into a deep lilac-pink color tone through most of the crystal. Kunzite is truly a stone from the heavens, combing the love and compassion of the heart chakra, with the otherworldly ethereal vibrations of the crown chakra.
Kunzite is the pink to lilac or violet colored variety of Spodumene, a lithium aluminum inosilicate. Kunzite is strongly pleochroic, from one direction appearing pink to lilac while from the perpendicular axis can appear colorless.
