Unique Qualities
This luminescent piece of gem jewelry was handcrafted in 14 karat gold by our master Goldsmith. A blue-fire Rainbow Moonstone is paired with a bluish-green Aquaprase pear. Aquaprase is a newly classified gemstone variety of chalcedony with vibrant bluish-green color. It was discovered by gem explore Yianni Melas in 2013 but despite being on the market for several years, it is incredibly difficult to source gems of such clarity and rich color without inclusions such as the pear-shaped Aquaprase in this pendant.
Aquaprase is a newly discovered gemstone variety of chalcedony with vibrant bluish-green color and comes from a non-disclosed location in Africa. The color of Aquaprase is associated with the throat chakra and the pure energy of expression. Aquaprase is a unification of the sea, clouds and the sand.
Moonstone is a name which encompasses both true moonstone, a potassium feldspar, and Rainbow Moonstone which is actually a variety of labradorite. The name Moonstone is born from its visual effect, called schiller or adularescence. Moonstone embodies the mystical inner-world of the night and light of the moon.
