Unique Qualities
Expertly crafted from shimmering sterling silver, this striking pendant features a Welo Opal and natural Moldavite centerpiece to create a unique and eye-catching piece. The Welo Opal is mined in Ethiopia and known for its striking play of rainbow-colored light, while Moldavite is a unique type of glass formed by a meteorite impact and highly desired for its mysterious properties. Together, this exquisite pendant is sure to draw admiration.
Moldavite was formed during a celestial event some 15 million years ago. A huge astroid estimated to be around 1 km in diameter struck southern Germany and formed what is today known as Ries Crater. Moldavite is known as the stone of transformation, a catalyst to inspire positive change and elevate one’s consciousness.
Gem Opal is a hydrated amorphous silica. The internal structure of gem quality Opal causes it to diffract light, causing a play of color, which can display virtually all colors from blue, to pink, green, yellow, white and black. Opal has microscopic spheres that create the play of color called opalescence.
