A sapphire-blue Kyanite oval facet is set above a 23 carat Chrome Chalcedony pear cabochon. Both gems are held securely in full bezel settings of 925 sterling silver. Kyanite is one of our favorite gems at Arkadia, an affordable flash of sapphire blue with powerful vibes to match! Chrome Chalcedony is a rare variety of the hard durable gem which comes from Zimbabwe, one of the only known localities for this rare gem. The green color is caused by trace elements of chromium. Kyanite is a blue to cyan aluminosilicate which forms in triclinic bladed crystals. Kyanite is still relatively rare in the gem world and considered to be somewhat exotic. Kyanite is associated with the throat chakra and is an excellent tool for communication, and enhancing self-expression.
