Chrome Diopside is the intense chrome green colored variety of Diopside, an inosilicate mineral. It has a high refractive index leading to its especially brilliant fire after cutting. Chrome Diopside saturated verdant green color symbolizes the energies of renewal, growth and expansion.

The internal structure of gem quality Opal causes it to diffract light, causing a play of color, which can display virtually all colors from blue, to pink, green, yellow, white and black.
