A trio of premium quality gemstones create a magical synergy in this pair of handcrafted earrings. At the top are a pair of intense-green Chrome Diopside facets, followed by Ethiopian Opal cabochons and at the base, a pair of dangling Kyanite pear facets. Chrome Diopside is the intense chrome green colored variety of Diopside, an inosilicate mineral that grows in prismatic monoclinic crystals. Moonstone embodies the mystical inner-world of the night, and the flashes of the moon’s light reflecting off of the water’s surface. Kyanite is one of the few gemstones that cannot accumulate negative energy and does not require cleansing. It is said to balance and realign all of the chakras and etheric body.
Kyanite is a blue to cyan aluminosilicate which forms in triclinic bladed crystals. Kyanite is still relatively rare in the gem world and considered to be somewhat exotic. Kyanite is associated with the throat chakra and is an excellent tool for communication, and enhancing self-expression.
Moonstone is a name which encompasses both true moonstone, a potassium feldspar, and Rainbow Moonstone which is actually a variety of labradorite. The name Moonstone is born from its visual effect, called schiller or adularescence. Moonstone embodies the mystical inner-world of the night and light of the moon.
