Unique Qualities
A faceted blue Sapphire is combined with a genuine Moldavite pear facet in this one-of-a-kind piece of 14 karat gold jewelry. The Sapphire is cut from a natural, unheated Burmese crystal. Both gems are held in claw settings, allowing light to easily penetrate the stones from all sides. The Ancient Greeks worshipped Sapphire as the gem of Apollo. Because of its connection to Appolo, Sapphire was known as the gem of prophecy and wisdom. Moldavite is the premier stone of transformation and its growing popularity has far outstripped its limited supply.

Moldavite was formed during a celestial event some 15 million years ago. A huge astroid estimated to be around 1 km in diameter struck southern Germany and formed what is today known as Ries Crater. Moldavite is known as the stone of transformation, a catalyst to inspire positive change and elevate one’s consciousness.

Moldavite Gemstone Properties

Sapphire is a precious gemstone and variety of Corundum, which is a mineral made up of aluminum oxide with trace amounts of chromium, magnesium, titanium and vanadium. Sapphire is typically blue but is also found in “fancy” colors of yellow, orange, purple and green.

It is a gem of wisdom, the intuition and divinity.
